Escrow Officer / Limited Practice Officer
In Katherine’s role as an Escrow Officer her
main responsibilities are to prepare Settlement Statements, Transfer
Deeds and other required documents for home refinance and purchase
transactions. She coordinates signings, confirms recording of the
documents and disburses funds to appropriate parties on each escrow
transaction.
Prior to joining the Escrow team at ARC,
Katherine worked at Washington Mutual.
For over 25 years, Katherine worked at several
local Washington Mutual branches opening new accounts and consumer
loans. Katherine’s next role was a Loan Closer/Funder for one of
Washington Mutual’s Residential Closing departments and was then
promoted to their Consumer Loan division where she became a Closing
Team Lead supervising a staff of 15 closers. Katherine also worked
in the National Affordable Lending department where she helped
borrowers achieve their dream of homeownership
